November 12 – December 29, 2024

A timeless holiday tradition.
A miserly and miserable man, Ebenezer Scrooge greets each Christmas with “Bah! Humbug!” until he is visited one Christmas Eve by the Ghosts of Christmas Past, Christmas Present and Christmas Future. In Charles Dickens’ beloved classic, the three spirits show Scrooge happy memories from his past, difficult realities from the present and a grim future should he continue his closed-hearted ways. Throughout his journey, Scrooge is forced to reckon with the man he has become and contemplate the man he could be — but only if his restless night leads to a change of heart by morning. Artistic Director Joseph Haj returns to direct this heartwarming holiday tradition for all ages.

DANCING AT LUGHNASA
Asolo Reparatory Theater
March 23 – May 25, 2024
Actor
Music and memory draw you back to the 1930s in this lyrical, effervescent portrait of five fierce sisters holding onto each other through the joys and sorrows of life in rural Ireland. Their missionary uncle has sparked a town scandal, their means of employment are looking doubtful, and their country is caught between ancient traditions and Catholic expectations. Still, no problem is so great that it can’t be faced with hard work, family loyalty, and once a year: dancing at the annual harvest festival of Lughnasa. Brian Friel’s Tony and Olivier-award winning memory play is a modern classic that the New York Timesdeclares “does exactly what theater was born to do.”
OSTENTATIOUS OUTLAWS OF NEEHAI VALLEY
Trademark Theater @ TBD

Director
Set in a Wild West from some alternative reality, Ostentatious Outlaws of Neehai Valley is an absurd satire of the ever-present friction between religion and queerness. In a quiet, rural town, residents follow the teachings of a literal bush. When an outsider arrives, their world is thrown into disarray after the stranger's magical culottes start sparking awakenings that will change them forever. Cue existential breakdowns and evil squirrels all leading to an epic standoff between a bush and pants. So, basically, it's as if Urinetown, Little Shop of Horrors, Kinky Boots, Aliens, and church had a fivesome. Welcome to Neehai Valley.
